My time as a frontend developer with Design Manufaktur Hamburg - many years filled with exciting projects and creative collaboration.
A phone call from Janine Lux marked the beginning of an exciting collaboration that would span several years. As the owner of Design Manufaktur, a design studio in Hamburg's Königstraße, she was looking for a frontend developer for her client projects. What emerged was more than just a regular business relationship – it became a creative partnership at eye level.
How It All Began
Design Manufaktur had already made a name for itself with its well-thought-out design concepts. What they still needed was someone who could technically bring these concepts to life. As a frontend developer, that was exactly my role.
The chemistry was right from the start. Janine and her team had a clear vision of how their designs should look, and I could contribute my technical expertise to transform these visions into functioning websites.
The Daily Work
Our collaboration usually worked like this: The Design Manufaktur team developed the creative concepts and designs. In joint discussions, we then refined the technical possibilities. What was particularly exciting was how design and technology inspired each other. Sometimes technical possibilities opened up new design paths, sometimes creative ideas demanded new technical solutions.
What I particularly liked: The team had an eye for detail without getting lost in it. It was always about finding the best solution for the client – not the most complicated or expensive one.
